Greetings Bat Fans!
It's been a VERY long time since I've updated this blog, but I'm pleased to announce that new episodes of our ongoing "season" of Grant Morrison's "BATMAN" is now available for viewing!
Before we get to the episodes, I'd like to apologize (again) for how much time this has been taking. To be completely honest, I probably could not have chosen a WORSE time in my life to take on such a project. After beginning my quest for voice actors (of which I have some of the best!), I've been promoted at work and have taken on many new responsibilites. This has, in many ways, limited my time.
But I'm getting there. The first arc of Morrison's story, Batman & Son, is now ready for viewing and I am several episodes ahead of what you will see below. I'm very pleased with our voice actors (particularly our voices for Alfred, Tim, and Talia) and they are on full-display in these episodes.
I'd also like to say that, for future episodes, the image quality should greatly improve...I went to my local LCS and bought every single issue of Morrison's run (with exception to the issues contained in the Batman and Son TPB) and will be scanning each image into my computer. I should have done this from the beginning, but calculated the cost to be too high and used my collected editions; I'm not happy with the image quality of the episodes presented on this blog, and future episodes will look much better and clearer. The video player does not represent final image quality.
I also have to admit that, in the end credits of these episodes, I completely forgot to list someone. Matteber is my Project Consultant, and without him I honestly do not think this project would still be alive. He's been an excellent help in getting this done, and in being a fantastic sounding bound for ideas! All episodes taking place after the Batman and Son arc will have him in the credits as my Project Consultant. Sorry matteber!
Okay, enough from me (it's late and I'm rambling)...here are Episodes 2, 3 and 4 of Season 1! They're not perfect (I find episode "2" to be particularly weak, with exception to the voices of Jezebel & Talia), but this project has picked up steam and seems to get better episode by episode. Wait until you see how RIP turns out...I hope you enjoy it. As always, comments are welcome (both positive and negative).

Yay new stuff!! I totally understand about having your time limited; I've started working on my PhD and my schedule is constantly being eaten up by it. Take your time and just update when you can. :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the understanding! Hopefully the eps come out a little quicker now, as I've worked ahead on many of them and they only need music & sound effects to finish them. I can also promise that future episodes will turn out much better than these did...I'm not about to let my stellar voice cast go to waste.
In my opinion, Morrison's story got better the further into it he got; I feel that my adaptation reflects that. Thanks again for viewing!
